We woke to a coating of ice everywhere. I know this is not unusual for you up north, but for down here it is very unusual and most people are too young to remember the last time they had ice this far south in Alabama. Also these folks don’t have salt for the roads or good insulation or heat for their homes so it is a little more challenging for them, with lots of frozen pipes. Thank goodness we didn’t lose our electricity as some folks have. It is a tough year of weather for lots of folks and whether you are in the north or south, the homeless are the ones that are really suffering.
We hope you are all staying well and that we all warm up soon, as this winter has lasted way too long this year.
